Tour Cancellation Policy

At Atekoli Tourism, we understand that travel plans can change for a variety of reasons. Therefore, we have established a cancellation policy with the aim of providing our clients with flexibility and transparency in case they need to modify or cancel their tour booking.

Below is our cancellation policy:

Cancellation & Refund:

I- If the client wishes to cancel their reservation, they must notify Atekoli Tourism in writing via email or communication via WhatsApp. Cancellation will not be considered valid until we receive written notice from us.

II- The refund varies depending on the time of cancellation:
A- Cancellation of day or 1/2 day excursions:

– Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled tour date: The client will be eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.

– Cancellations made between 72 hours and 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour date: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour amount will apply, and the client will receive a refund of the remaining amount.

– Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour date: No refunds will be made.

B- Cancellation of excursions of 2 days or more:
Cancellations made 8 days or more prior to the scheduled tour date: The client will be eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.

– Cancellations made between 3 days and 7 days prior to the scheduled tour date: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour amount will apply, and the client will receive a refund of the remaining amount.

– Cancellations made less than 3 days prior to the scheduled tour date: No refunds will be made.

Tour Date Changes:

If the client needs to change the dates of their tour, we will do our best to accommodate the request at no additional cost, as long as there is availability on the new dates.

Cancellations by Atekoli Tourism:

In the event that Atekoli Tourism must cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions or logistical issues, the customer will be offered the option to reschedule the booking on an alternative date or receive a full refund.

Customized Tours and Reservations of 10 people or more:

Custom tours may have different cancellation policies. These policies will be agreed upon and communicated in writing to customers at the time of booking.

Tour Refund:

Refunds will be processed within 5 business days after the customer has notified the cancellation in writing. Refunds will be made via the same payment method used in the booking.

Modifications to the Tour Itinerary:

Atekoli Tourism reserves the right to make modifications to the tour itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. In case of significant changes, the customer will be notified as soon as possible and suitable alternatives will be offered.

Travel Insurance:

It is strongly recommended that customers purchase travel insurance that covers cancellations and contingencies related to the trip.
